Wagons full of flowers! I wait for this season all year long!

9 months of the year, there are flowers to harvest, but this is the season of the "cut and come again" flowers. Cutting these flowers only encourages more growth. The abundance of this harvest time soothes my soul, which is weary of the scarcity model we all live in. Here, in this season, we live in an abundance of beauty, love and flowers. Wagons and wagons full of 'em!

I love the diversity in flowers! Different sizes, shapes, colors, textures all come together to make a unique beautiful piece of art. It is so easy to see this beauty in flowers, and yet it can be much harder for us to see this same beauty in ourselves. It is our diversity that makes us equally as exquisite and sublime. Our different sizes,
shapes, colors, textures that make us beautiful humans.

Summer is here! It is time for summer subscriptions! This year we have three options.

1) A mason jar bouquet filled with all of the beauty of fresh summer flowers. $70 a month

2) A paper wrapped Market bouquet packed with Summer beauty. $40 a month

3) A dahlia subscription for the Dahlia Lovers, who enjoy the pure beauty of Dahlia's. $50 a month.

All three options are twice a month. All plans have the option for delivery or pickup. Delivery is a $10 a month fee.

After a long rainy winter, it is finally time for the spring flower subscription! Pure joy.

Every year it's a little bit different.
This year, depending on what suits the flowers on the farm best your arrangements will be a mix of mason jar arrangements and paper wrapped bouquets.

This subscription is for 4 bouquets of flowers every other week for 2 months for $100. Pick up or delivery options available. $25 delivery fee for the full spring season.

Tulip season is coming to an end. This is my first year of having three months of tulips. I thought for sure by the end of 3 months I would be tired of them. On the contrary, I will miss these tulips so much. There is something so hopeful about a bright, cheerful tulip. I am grateful for these tulips brightening my winter. I am grateful for all of the support of my community with this winter tulip season. This weekend is your last chance to get some of our tulips in 2024. We will be on the west side farmers market saturday morning 3/30 from 9:00 a.m. till 1:00 and in Ben Lomond at Mountain Feed & Farm Supply from 10:00 a.m. till we are sold out.

We are having such a fun weekend in Midtown Santa Cruz. Collaborating with Midtown Creative Studio and the wonderful photographers having mini photo sessions. This weekend we are popping up! It’s getting close to our Winter Tulip season ending so we are deciding to have a weekend of fun options for you to find us around town. Fall morning on the farm

As the seasons change, it is fun to watch what flowers are falling asleep and what flowers are waking up with the shortened days. Here in California I feel like our biggest marker for seasons is the length of the day. As the winter approaches, our days are shorter whether they are warm or cool. It is beautiful to see how the flowers are so aware and remind us of the coming winter.

The October heatwave is causing some problems. The flowers I just harvested and arranged last night didn’t survive the night. I thought I would be able to keep them alive by turning the air conditioning up but that couldn’t even save the newly harvested flowers. Just when you thought things couldn’t get more strange in farming, the sky today is thick orange from all the fires across California. Our local fire just a few miles away it’s almost completely contained, however there are so many other fires raging across the state. Between the heat of the past few days that has reached up to 116° and the fog that has rolled in the smoke and ash has gotten trapped in the air.
