Oh, man. I have had to sit on this gallery and come back to it MANY times. To put it mildly, I have struggled so much with it. Nothing went right on my end for these sessions. It was super hot, started out windy, the flowers were wilted when shipped in, the colors were VIVID (as you can tell), there was no shade, no clouds, and Luther got heat stroke. It was brutal.
Even as a professional photographer, this still happens. Not often, but it does. Here is my take away. Sometimes the session doesn't go as planned. It isn't what you envision and things didn't go right. Sometimes you offer a discount for the next session. Sometimes you cry and edit, then re edit, then edit again.
This doesn't discourage me as a photographer, but it does teach me that sometimes things won't go your way.
I love this image of Jenna Jo and I really wanted it perfect. The moment is there and I think it's still beautiful. Image one is straight out of camera, the second is my final image.
