I mean how BEAUTIFUL! It felt right to capture some of this ceremony with the view as the focal point. They definitely didn’t plan to have an indoor view of the beach, but the rainbow made up for it 🙏🏼

Digital film b&w’s from the shelton’s 🫶🏻

You’ll prob see me carrying around a little black camera at your wedding - it’s a digital film camera by fujifilm! The images are shot digitally with a pre-chosen “preset” on the image. It’s meant to simulate film! It’s been so fun to carry this cam around on wedding days as a fun little addition for our couples, and they get all the photos the next day since there is no editing involved. It can shoot color too, but I’ve just been loving the b&w’s 🤌🏼

“How long do couple photos take?”

When it comes to capturing stunning photos of just the two of you, I want to make sure you feel comfortable and at ease. I understand your wedding day can be busy, so I’ll do my best to work around your schedule and preferences.

To ensure we have enough time to create those beautiful, dreamy shots, I suggest allowing for 20-40 minutes of shooting time.

If you choose to have a first look, we can complete all your photos then, or we can break them up! If you choose to break them up you can expect about 20min at the first look, and 20min right after the ceremony!

OUR STORY

We started dating when we were 16, and In 2017 we got engaged the end of our senior year. We always knew we wanted to build something together, and knew college didn’t line up with that vision… that’s when Weddings By the Hunts was born!

We shot our first wedding together early that summer, and got married ourselves on Oct 14th, 2017.

Joel is the lead videographer, and Alea the lead photographer. We currently live in Birmingham, AL, and have 2 of the coolest little boys in the whole world.

Our hope is to give you the most authentic, and artistic footage of your wedding day that you could have ever dreamed of. We are self-claimed King and Queen of candid moments — it’s actually our skillset. If you want something real, with a hint of wow… you’ll love it here.

The Herron’s just celebrated their 1 year anniversary!! They got married at the stunning Ridge Pointe!
