Our Story

Located just 45 minutes from downtown Birmingham on beautiful Smith Lake Alabama, the property features 180 degree views of the lake, with 40 acres of private land.

Event site 1: The Glass Farmhouse at Smith Lake: Nominated for "House of the Year" by Arch Daily (the worlds most visited architectural website), The Glass Farmhouse on Smith Lake has been featured in numerous architectural magazines for its unique design and panoramic views. The property is located on a private lot surrounded by water on all sides. Just 45 minutes from downtown Birmingham Alabama on Lewis Smith Lake, guests can enjoy the amazing panoramic views, the natural light, and the 40 acres of private lake living. The house was designed by Christopher Architects and features a completely glass enclosed living room, and 5 large outdoor areas with enough space for a wedding of 75 people.

Event Site 2: The Barn at Smith Lake (Coming in 2019): With unobstructed views of beautiful Smith Lake, The Barn at Smith Lake is the perfect place for any event. With a 5,000 square foot modern rustic barn house and an outdoor amphitheater for events that can comfortably hold 225+ guests, The Barn includes two fully air-conditioned bride and groom suites, four bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen and bar area.

Both properties can be rented as a package when the barn is complete in 2019. Together, they will be able to host 225+ guests and sleep 26 overnight. The Glass House and The Barn will be situated where guests can easily walk between each space.
