Today is the first day of winter, the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, and we will get to see the "Christmas Star," so watch for it tonight!

The two largest planets in our solar system, Jupiter and Saturn, are coming closer together than they have been since the Middle Ages, appearing to be a "Christmas Star." This close approach will happen on December 21, but it will be visible through December 25.
