Setting up reception tables for your Wedding requires attention to detail to create a welcoming and visually appealing atmosphere for your guests. Here are five tips to help you set your reception tables effectively: 💫Choose a theme or color scheme: Selecting a theme or color scheme for your event can tie the decor together and create a cohesive look for your reception tables. Whether you opt for a classic white and gold theme or a rustic bohemian vibe, make sure to coordinate table linens, centerpieces, and place settings accordingly. 💫Focus on centerpieces: Centerpieces are a focal point of reception tables and can set the tone for the entire event. Whether you choose floral arrangements, candles, or unique decor pieces, ensure that centerpieces are not too tall to obstruct guests’ views or conversation.💫 Pay attention to place settings: Well-organized place settings can elevate the overall look of your reception tables. Be sure to include essentials like dinner plates, utensils, glassware, and napkins. Consider adding personalized touches such as place cards or menu cards to make guests feel special.💫 Incorporate lighting: Lighting plays a crucial role in creating ambiance at your event. Consider using candles, string lights, or lanterns to add warmth and a romantic touch to your reception tables. Dimmable lighting can also help adjust the mood throughout the evening.💫 Don’t forget about practicality: While aesthetics are important, practicality is key when setting up reception tables. Ensure there is enough space between place settings for guests to feel comfortable. Consider adding amenities like chargers for electronic devices or amenities baskets for guests’ convenience.By incorporating these tips, you can create beautiful and inviting reception tables that leave a lasting impression on your guests.Planning @valleyview_eventsVenue @whitetailridgefarmnyPhotography @madisonraephotography1

This was a fun weekend helping the Mother of the Bride and her family pull off a surprise Bridal Shower with a week’s notice. Oh, did I mention they live out of state?! I’m ready to pull up my boots and get it done (when actually my pointed toe flats 🤣)

The topic of wedding planning that always breaks the Internet. If you should have kids or not have kids at your wedding and if you say you don’t wanna have kids at your wedding, are you a monster…? I’m a mom of two and regardless of that status I am always up for whatever the bride and groom are for. Of course I would love to have a night away without my children, but I understand that not everybody has the resources for a babysitter. If I didn’t have the resources for a babysitter, then I would kindly decline the wedding, but also wish them well. It’s not something that I’m gonna go march around for because it’s not my day.
