Hello Participants,

Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 situation we are having to cancel the October 2020 Triathlon.

We will begin to process refunds soon. We will not be able to refund processing fees or your one day USAT membership. For that please contact Active or USAT.

If the area will allow people in the park, we may attempt a free, not officially sanctioned, event. Details later.

We are looking forward to getting back to racing in 2021!

We've added a new division for both Sprint and Olympic called "Just for Fun," a non-competitive division where family and friends can participate together. Carpinteria is a beautiful beach town on the Central Coast located between Santa Barbara and Ventura. The Carpinteria Beach, known as the “World’s Safest Beach,” is very special and has been rated one of the top swimming beaches in California, due mostly to its southern exposure and the protection provided by the Santa Barbara Channel Islands. Swimmers will usually enjoy small surf and the absence of riptides at our very unique and special beach. The bike and run courses offer some amazing views of both the mountains and Pacific Ocean. Come enjoy the charm of one of the last small beach towns on our coast!

Support the Community Swimming Pool Fundraiser on May 21st! It's the first annual SUMMER KICK OFF. Tickets on sale now at the pool, City Hall and other local businesses. Festivities include live music featuring the Rincons, local brews and wines from Island Brewing, Rincon Brewery and Summerland Winery, silent and live auction. Cost $50 per ticket includes 2 drink tickets, food from Nutbelly Pizza, The Food Liaison and Zookers.
All proceeds will benefit the Community Pool and those who swim there. Come join the fun and help keep our local pool the best place to swim!

The City's Youth Scholarship Fund will receive $2 from each purchase. The fund provides assistance to local families for children to participate in aquatic programs such as Junior Lifeguards and Swim Club.

Registration fees for the Annual Carpinteria Triathlon are scheduled to INCREASE at 12:00 AM on Saturday August 1. This year we have added an Aquabike division for the Olympic distance only. Entry fees will increase by $15 so don't delay register today! We look forward to seeing you in September.
