A Lost Asylum was formed in November of 2016 in Salt Lake City. The band consists of Holly Watson (Lead Vocals), Gil Menchaca (Guitar), Dante Long (Guitar/Unclean Vocals), Justin Bell (Drums/Unclean Vocals), and James Roake (Bass). Touring the West Coast within a year of forming, they have become an unstoppable force. Able to overcome any obstacle in their path in order to keep creating music.

A Lost Asylum brings hard hitting, dark Gothcore through melodic guitar riffs, rhythmic bass, energetic drums, brutal screams, and beautifully dark lead vocals.

They have played 75+ shows in under 2 years of forming. Playing along side The Dead Rabbitts, Famous Last Words, Spite, I Set My Friends On Fire, and The Funeral Portrait. They released their first EP May 2018 and released their first full length album in February, 2020.

After a few member changes and members switching instruments, A Lost Asylum has found a solid lineup eager to bring a new style of emo music to the world. Proving time and time again the dedication, flexibility, and resilience to keep creating music for everyone to enjoy.

Corina Marie is the vocalist/creator for the idea in 2019, and first to join in this new genre is Jared Mario as drum timing genius and co-founder, following alongside with Chris Sutton as lead guitarist and instrument writing master mind. A lot of people have asked me why I shut down the shows in August. It's because I have to go on tour in about a month and that needs my full attention. I'll be gone for pretty much all of October. There were three Rocky Mountain Entertainment shows left on the schedule this year. One got cancelled because the touring bands couldn't make it.. the other two were transferred to people who can definitely handle the responsibilities of a concert.
Thursday September 7 is the AnthemFest Tour Casper Show featuring a touring circuit of bands.. and Justin Heide and Amber Chance are handling the Saturday November 4 show at OCBC.. that announcement will be coming soon. Those shows are in great hands 🤗
When I get back from tour in late October I'm taking the rest of the year off for Amelia ❤️❤️❤️
We'll regroup for next year.. have an amazing day 🤗

I named it Wyoming Hard Core because of our way of life here in Wyoming. This is a tough and rugged place to live. There's a lot about living in Wyoming that's pretty hardcore. It was never about the bands. It was about Wyoming coming together and having fun. A day to celebrate each other and how awesome you are. Honestly we could book any genre we wanted to on that show and it would still be hardcore because it's not about the bands it's about YOU ❤️❤️❤️

The LADIES OF METAL show was probably the most fun I've had at a concert this year. Living Dead Girl Kazha and A Vintage Future were amazing and the crowd was amazing too!!!
