Happy Friday. I made this post on my page on but missed this page. Its been a while though so I figured it would be a great time for a Friday Introduction. I have some new friends and followers on this platform, so why not right? Hi, my name is Jen Wilson and I'm mom to an amazing and very active 4 year old boy that I absolutely adore. I'm a photographer (for the last 6 years professionally) and most recently added Mary Kay to what it is I do. I am also on the BOD for I AM VOICES INC and on the social media, PR, Marketing team. I am passionate about all of this because it allows me to be in my element and empower and engage other amazing women walking in their purpose. I love and am inspired to see women passionate about what they do, also inspiring and lifting up others. I have some lofty goals this month and for the rest of the year. According to the CDC, nearly 1 in 5 women have experienced completed or attempted r**e during their lifetime. In South Carolina, 45.9% of women report being victims of s*xual violence or coercion other than r**e. (Source: SCCADVASA)

These are alarming statistics, but we are honored to be part of the organizations working towards change. Our housing, programs and resources can help victims of assault heal and grow through their trauma.
