Over night, we received an anonymous donation that is to cover the admission fee. To honor the donor’s wishes, Kalayaan Fest is now FREE TO ENTER!

We will be refunding tickets and closing our ticket sale.

Sorbetes is the traditional Filipino variation of ice cream. Also called "dirty ice cream," it is usually sold or peddled by street hawkers using colorful metal carts. It is usually served in small wafer or sugar cones and bread buns or "monay." It is uniquely made from either coconut milk or ordinary milk.

This will be available at the Kalayaan Fest(Philippines Independence Day) on June 12, 12-6PM at The Graff Chicago located at 3517 W Grand Ave. Chicago, Illinois. 🚨⚡️⚡️

🇵🇭The Sorbetes cart is owned by Paredes Investment Inc. and it is established in 2015. They aim to promote Filipino Product (more specifically Capiz Parol) and its Culture all over North America. Helping small scale businesses in the Philippines, to make a living for their family, while promoting their skills in the handicraft industries. Most of them are backyard manufacturing single proprietor businesses. 🇵🇭

Kamusta?//How are you?

We, Eina Kathlyn of Sweet Delights Chicago LLC and Noelle Louise of Everybody's Market , would like to introduce to you Chicago PAMILYA and ourselves.

Chicago PAMILYA's mission is to create a platform for our Filipinx brothers and sisters as well as share and celebrate our beautiful culture, food, music, and art.

Eina Kathlyn is currently enrolled at The French Pastry School and will be graduating as a Pastry Chef this summer (2022). She is also the owner/baker of Sweet Delights Chicago LLC that offers traditional and unique Filipino-style pastries and desserts while incorporating Filipino flavors. Their mooncakes were featured in the Chicago Tribune when they were a part of the Over the Moon Chicago Project and Argyle Mid Autumn Moon Festival last year, 2021.

Noelle Louise of Everybody's Market is the curator and the host of Everybody’s Market. She has hosted over 25 events, worked with over 100 micro businesses, and had over 1000 guests in total in attendance. She also is the owner of Masiramon Chicago and FoodiefrmtheChi .

We are so excited to share that we are planning multiple events these next few months. More details to come in the next few days, so please give us a follow and stay tuned!
