Since I have new friends on my page, i want to introduce myself again so you have a better idea of who is speaking.

At seventeen I started with nothing but the clothes on my back living on the streets of San Diego. I didn’t have friends or go to parties, I didn’t play sports after my sophomore year and I didn’t go on vacations or play video games; I spent most of my youth working on a farm in the country gardening, hauling wood and tearing down the old barn so after all that I decided to go play in the ocean.

The only problem other than homelessness was that I had a child born in Ohio while I was gone. So, I got a job cleaning and fueling bulldozers and backhoes in a diesel mechanic shop until I had enough money to return.

I lived in welfare housing for a few years while i went back to school and got my GED, then moved on to get a certificate in mechanical engineering. We had three boys 1993 when my job lead me to Cincinnati. I had several jobs until I decided to quit working in machine shops and paid for an education in real estate.

I started out paying for a lease purchase on 68 units; a 2 million dollar property with 5 floors, an elevator, a swimming pool and a house on 3.5 acres with $10,000 down. The marriage and the deal all fell apart in a few years and I was back in San Diego on the streets again; this time living in my vehicle.

After nearly a year I got a good job at an upscale apartment complex and brought my oldest son to stay with me. I made the mistake of repainting the sign out front so it was back to Ohio with nothing but a truck and a drum set.

I spent 3 years painting houses before I decided to be a personal assistant for MRDD, then got a nurse aid certificate and started college at 36. I got an associate degree in the sciences intending to become a medical social worker but decided to quit the field and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. I also attended a bible college and did the work to receive a bachelor’s in divinity but the college closed down before i could graduate.

During this time and after I volunteered as a Sunday school teacher, an outreach leader, a group facilitator, drummer, bass player and ministry leader in the county jail. All in all I taught Sunday school and jail ministry for 12 years.

After graduating from college I was hit on my motorcycle and received an insurance payout. I took a Caribbean cruise and set to buying duplexes and single family homes. It took 5 years to rehab 6 properties and after all of that I just didn’t want to keep working like that anymore. I provided low cost housing for as long as possible and sold all of my properties to buy The Place Party Hall and created Harmonize Club.

It has taken 4 years and all of my profits to get the property ready for hosting entertainment events for the special needs community, seniors and children while still functioning as a rental hall for families large and small.

My friends and I are exhausted from all this and we have many barriers left to overcome but we are not giving up. The house band will be performing, artists will be painting , dancers will be dancing, and comedians will be performing so, join me and the performing arts (and artists) community at The Place at 6005 Vine Street in downtown Elmwood Place Village in Cincinnati later on this year to celebrate the opening of Club Harmonize. Details to be announced later on this fall.

We built stages and dressing rooms during the shutdown to provide a more suitable space for performing arts. From the day we opened after the pandemic in September 2020 to September 2022 there were no issues whatsoever. Thousands of families, groups, friends and relatives came through our doors.

Then, in September 2022 I allowed a previous mayor of Elmwood Place to arrange, promote and host events at The Place. He made his own gmail account, page in the name of Harmonize Club and directed traffic to his building down the street. I kicked him out of the building and a few days later met the Elmwood Fire Cheif.

The Fire Cheif informed me that him and his friend, the previous Mayor, were going to take the property.

The following pictures show the lengths of fraud and misconduct they are willing to take to accomplish their goal. I am asking your help to not let them succeed.

Bones is in University Hospital recovering from a motorcycle accident, a hit-and-run sideswipe. He has a hairline fracture of the left ulna and a fractured left ankle. Road rash (abrasions) were sustained over about 11% of his skin. Lots of bandages and significant pain. We don't have a discharge date yet. Visiting hours are Mon-Fri 9 am to 9 pm. Bones can be called directly: 513 584 2465. FYI his phone was wasted, no use calling that. The big guy is tough and in good spirits.
