Just a quick progress update plus added randomness for your viewing pleasure… We passed our first inspection!!! 🙌 But still a few to go, so if we told you we’re opening in September, it’s looking more likely October??? Our hearts are full of gratitude for our community & the opportunity we’ve been given to serve up, inspire, & receive the LOVE.

As the bands play on, we hear them from across the street, missing the days when the music-nerd/non bar owner/operator in me, researched ahead and danced like no one was watching 😌 So. New chapter, new challenge, new adventures. Still dancing like no one is watching, but playing the band’s music on our Bluetooth speakers & chilling in Airconditioning of OUR VERY OWN NEW BAR!!!!! Thanks to all our friends, family & friendly passersby!!!

“Maggie” a mini retrospective of my mom’s work is up for 2 more days, from 1-7 Saturday & 1-5 Sunday in the gallery here at the Hoffner Lodge, enter at 4120 Hamilton Ave 45223. Also threw in screen shots from my OCD photo collections for fun & therapy for you(so you might feel less crazy seeing my crazy) you’re welcome.

We can't wait to frame and hang some of these drawings up in the building. I believe the clock tower was lost in a fire and never rebuilt? It would be cool to recreate only its ghost as an iron armature with lights. Definitely on the list, along with an elevator & a few other things we’d love to do if we win the lottery 😆

Thanks to all the wonderful businesses, small & large that have called this lodge their home, their customers, clients, & students that have come through it’s doors supporting these businesses, and to the friends & family that maintain & steer this gorgeous ship.

We lost Maggie last month & Maureen several years ago, but we persevere and are so honored to be among those who work to maintain their legacy.

We love you Northside!

Come see & feel the beauty of our new (in 1886!) floor in the ballroom!! We are extremely grateful for the helping hands & borrowed tools that removed the many layers of old linoleum (held tight by soooo many nails!) that protected it over the years.(AND thanks to our accommodating tenants & neighbors!!)
