There are 10+ different categories for adults and youth to participate in, and prizes to win. So don't miss this paw-some event!

Along with this Saturday's car show, there will be "Pie in the Park!" Hosted by the Chapter T PEO, proceeds benefit local high school students through scholarships. Come on down and enjoy homemade pie while making a difference.

You can also enter your pie into the event! Award categories are listed on the flyer.

Remember, the winner bakes it all! It's the pie-light of the year!

THIS SATURDAY is the Clatskanie Heritage Days Car Show! Come to the city park between 9am-3pm and admire a park FILLED with classic cars and trucks. We'll have live music, pie, food, vendors, awards, a 50/50 raffle, and fun!

Interested in entering your vehicle? Registration opens day-of at 8am and closes at 10:30am. Just cruise on in with a $20 bill or check per entry and we'll get you entered and situated. There are 24+ award categories AND the trophies are made by local high school students. Thank you for joining us!

We are excited to show off this year's Clatskanie Heritage Days logos! Each year we have a contest where local art students at Clatskanie High School submit designs. For this year, we had two winners!

The first image is this year's main Heritage Days logo, designed by Bayleigh Lopez. This image shows off the welcome sign in Clatskanie.

The second image is the main logo for the Heritage Days 2024 Car Show, designed by Kylee Smith.

We are accepting submissions for the 2024 Heritage Days Theme! Last year's winner won $150, an art kit, public recognition, and a front-page story in the Clatskanie Chief. Open to local students between 13-19, no matter where you attend school. Get your submissions in before Christmas (reach out to the email in the attached flyer for questions about physical submissions) and be a part of a local tradition. 🥳

We suggest you set up early for the parade this year because at 10:08 the first flyover is happening! The 142nd Wing, home to Oregon Air National Guard's RedHawks, is estimated to fly over Clatskanie at 10:08am. Get ready to take your photos!

Join us this Saturday for Clatskanie's biggest car show! 🚗🎉 Starting at 9am, there are activities happening throughout the day. More information is below for both visitors and car enthusiasts!

THE MAIN EVENT: (Free visitor entry)
• Car Show (9am-3pm Clatskanie City Park)
• There will be vendors & a 50/50 raffle
• The Clatskanie Chapter T PEO will be selling Pie in the Park
• 23 Award Categories & a People's Choice Award
• There's also the ability to show your favorite entry that their car is your favorite by buying and awarding your own My Choice Trophy!

For just $20, you can enter your pride & joy into this car show. Just come on over to Clatskanie City park between 7am-10:30am and you can register on-site. Please bring cash or a check (made payable to "Clatskanie Heritage Days")

Clatskanie Heritage Days is bringing back Dr Feel Good, Michael Cain, for another great evening of family entertainment with his Hypnotist Show on Saturday, July 1st! Tickets are on sale now at Clatskanie PUD, Wauna Credit Union, and Umpqua Bank.
Don't miss out on this fun comedy show! Tickets are only $20 for adults, and $10 for Child (2-12) tickets.
This is a Heritage Days Fundraiser to help us continue to provide the Heritage Days events on 4th of July including the fantastic fireworks display!

Save the Dates! Here's what we have in-store this summer:

Join us at City Park on Sat. June 24th from 8:30am-3pm for Heritage Day's Car Show. Before the event, 7am-11am, there's a breakfast special at Big Guys, then head on over to enjoy hot rods, tasty food, music, a 50/50 raffle, pie in the park from the Clatskanie T P.E.O. Chapter, Clatskanie Farmers Market, and more!

Join us at Birkenfeld Theatre on Sat. July 1st at 7pm for a family-friendly hypnotist event and movie showing (movie title TBD*).

Don't miss the chance to gather with old friends at the All Class Reunion on Sunday July 2nd at noon in the City Park Gazebo. And at 3pm, bring your furry friends--both big and small--to Strutt Your Mutt. They'll show their best, and put their cuteness to the test!

And of course, join us July 4th for Clatskanie's BIGGEST EVENT OF THE YEAR! From 11am until nightfall, we'll have the city parade, live music, donkey races, many activities in the park, and the spectacular fireworks show.

We would like to thank all those who came out for the parade, events, and fireworks show in Clatskanie!! It was an absolute delight to put on these events for our community and we already look forward to 2023!

Also, thank you to all the community volunteeers who helped put these events together, and our sponsors for supporting us. This year’s Heritage Days Heroes included Clatskanie PUD, Clatskanie Cruisers, Port of Columbia County, Clatskanie River Inn and RV Park, Wauna Credit Union, Teevin Bros. Yesterday’s Strutt Your Mutt was a hoot! It was super fun to see all the pets people brought out. This video is just one of the categories, where pets had to retrieve 3 thrown tennis balls to their owners. As the video shows, they were highly trained for this mission 😂 Thank you to all those who brought their furry pals out, this was a great event

Are you ready for lots of laughter this Fourth of July? We sure are. We have a great opportunity for some team bonding and a friendly Clatskanie competition at this year's Heritage Days celebration in the park. The Heritage Days committee is bringing in 10 Race Donkeys and is setting up a track in the park. Bragging rights for a full year: Business vs Business, Family Vs Family, Old Vs Young.........

DATE: JULY 4TH
LOCATION: Clatskanie City Park.
TIME: 3 PM - 4ish PM
COST: Free for all teams
TEAM SIZES and RACES: Teams Sizes must be 5 people per team.
PRIZES- 1ST PLACE Blue Ribbons for each winning team member.
ALL Riders must be under 200 Pounds

Race options:
1. Team VS Team: Head to head scheduled race. Team captains and Team names are indicated on the race form.
2. Randon team races: Your team registers for a race and is assigned a random opponent- times will be determined ahead of time.
3. Race day entry: Show up on race day and get placed on a team.

* Race rules will be provided on race day.

A Donkey Race Release form must be signed by each racing member. Forms are attached and will also be available on race day. ALL minors must have a parent/guardian sign a waiver form.
