Cleveland Heights' Cain Park presents: THE FROGS! Stephen Sondheim and Burt Shevelove's boisterously hilarious yet poignant musical follows Dionysos, Greek god of wine and drama, and his slave Xanthias on a journey to Hades to collect renowned critic and playwright George Bernard Shaw so that he may enlighten the easily misled and cowed masses of Earth--and perhaps redeem and elevate the importanc
e of the arts in the world. Along this journey to the Underworld, Dionysos and Xanthias meet gods and playwrights, lost souls and, of course, the ever-apathetic, seductively sinister and creepily coercive frogs. Finally, William Shakespeare and George Bernard Shaw duke it out in a subterranean battle of words to see who will win the honor of saving the earth: The Bard or Bernard? TICKETS:
