Made a splash at a memorial fundraiser last night. Thankyou Shannon for being my legs for the evening. Proceeds from the evening went to building of The National Memorial of Military Ascent. Thankyou to all our veterans for your service and the support of their families. We wouldn’t be where we are if it weren’t for you.

I will be listing this crown set for sale and a portion of the proceeds will go towards the building of this memorial. It will be posted as available on Sunday evening June 9th at 5:00 pm.

Why is it that when I think about my age (yay birthday coming up), I hate the number. But when I say to kids that my mermaid age is 492 moon cycles, it’s suddenly cool? All the sudden a bigger number is better. 😆

Finally got some nice dryland photos of my more colorful/kid friendly mersona. Thankyou Siren Saor for helping me get these tonight. I’m usually a dark Siren, I felt a bit out of sorts for this. All in all, it was fun and we found some great spots to get our whole pod here in the future.

Customer commission. Not for sale.

I dont usually post customer sets but this one is unique. (she approved me sharing) These are the finished pieces and their coordinating tail of the post I made last night. They are really going to luminate in a blacklit tank. Neons were a new challenge to work with. The options out there for colored UV reactive beads was very limited but I think we pulled it off.

Can’t wait to see the performance photos.

Ventured on land today to the beautiful grand staircase at Fort Belle Fontaine with my little minnow. Picked up enough trash to fill one of the park’s trash barrels. I love nature but really hate humans sometimes. Always leave a place better then you found it.

The universe has been against my family lately. My husband was laid off from his job recently. Suitable work in his profession may mean we will have to relocate again.

In the mean time, here is a sneak peak at another piece Im working on from a miss pour of pigment from an earlier project. Soft rose quarts, pale green adventurine, with some pearl tones makes this a nice match to a Waterlily or Riverbend print. It’s not finished yet. I’m waiting on a pink glass cat-eye center stone from Fire Mountian Gems. Should be here within the week. Then it’ll be finished and ready to be posted as available.

I’m debating on putting a few rhinestones at the tips of the scallop shells. Not sure if that would make it look too tacky. What do you guys think? Is it too much harsh bling for a very muted color palatte? The soft vibe of this set tells me no but I’m curious of other opinions.

Preview of a special side project finally finished. Will be releasing on Wednesday at noon. (Happy Valentines day) I adore this set and it really matches my mersona. However I am having to retire the tail I would have worn this with. So, untill I find another dark tail and in a good material that suits me, I’m letting this set go. The matching earrings are dangling from the drapes. This would go great with a Curse of Cortez or Anubis. I would have worn this with my Moonsong Diablo Earth but that fabric has past it’s prime and is no longer swimmable. Gotta love highly chlorinated pools 🙄

I’ll have better photos when I list it. These are just for general reference.

Lissie Alue has been a mertender (mermaid assistant) for several events I’ve been apart of. She has been extremely helpful and her aid has been invaluable. A mermaid cannot put on a show or do appearances by herself. Lissie Alue was on point on helping with set up, tear down, discrete entrances and exits, alerting to any costume issues, making adjustments to the set during the duration of our time present, ensuring everyone stayed hydrated, and helped ensure everyone’s positive moral, and maintained a professional poise throughout. I look forward to doing many more events with her in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

To make a necklace or not to make a necklace. 🤔🤔🤔 This is another piece using the miscellaneous extra bits and a test pour of pigment. It’s not perfect. There are a few minor air bubble voids in the filigree pieces. Will be releasing by the end of the week.

Took some great photos and video of a pod mate this past Sunday. Some of these turned out so much better then I expected for just using large black tablecloths as a backdrop. But dang did they turn out pretty. This is the lovely merfae Allura Dawn.
