Mary and Roger Coffmon, the people who own Columbus Events Group, have been bringing the BEST and BIGGEST concerts to Columbus, Ohio for the past 29 years. Starting in 1988, Mary and Roger owned a Rock ‘N Roll Venue in Columbus called Park Avenue. During the time it was in operation, Park Avenue saw acts such as Bolt Thrower, Candlemass, Sepultura, Type O Negative, Cannibal Co**se, Corrosion of Co
nformity, Life of Agony, Cyclone Temple and many more. After the doors closed to Park Avenue in 1993, the music took a break. In 2008, Mary Coffmon decided it was time to officially revive her place in the local scene, only this time as a promotions company. And so, Columbus Events Group was formed. Columbus Events Group is focused on brining the biggest names in hard rock and metal to venues around Columbus, Ohio. Averaging 20 concerts a year, CEG is certainly a driving force for the Columbus music scene and has a solid place in the hearts of those who are active in the metal community.
