Congratulations to the WINNER of the first-ever Concrete Gnomes Contest: Susan Garcia!!

Susan successfully completed 112 activities, including 39 photos and 8 videos. After finding all 12 of the Concrete Gnomes, she responded quickly to questions, quizzes and riddles by researching gnome trivia, town history and local businesses.

It was her willingness to leap outside the box that put her ahead of the other participants, although it was a TOUGH competition!!

Thanks to all of you who took part in this contest. We hope you had as much fun completing all the challenges as we did trying to stay one step ahead of you!

The challenges in the Gnome contest included everything from rhymes, riddles, selfies, songs and stories. What an amazing group of people participated in this first-ever Gnome game!

Info to know: Gonks are essentially festive Scandinavian gnomes – a Nordic-like interpretation of Santa Claus, if you will.

With just their nose and beard peaking out of a Santa hat, not only are they cute, gonks are said to protect homes throughout the festive season, so it’s worth having one or two of them around.
