Many years ago I had my first taste of baba ganoush. It was made by Pierre DeRagon, an outstanding chef and generous man. I have loved this dip/spread/side dish ever since. So when I found some perfectly fine eggplants at the grocers, I knew how I was going to use them. Yum.
