I don’t know who needs to hear this, but get photos of you IN THAT DRESS! I know too many brides who barely get any solo photos in their wedding dresses. There are 3 reasons why you need to get solo photos.

✅ You paid GOOD money for that dress. 💰
✅ You look SIMPLY AMAZINGGGGG in that dress. 🥰
✅ You’ll only wear THAT dress once!!! 🥴

Talk to your coordinator and photographer to make sure they have a place in your wedding day timeline for bridal photos. Or you can book whole a bridal shoot separate from your wedding day to get as many poses in as you would like.

This gorgeous balloon piece definitely deserved a post of its own. It was such a pleasure working with Boulevard Events. Even as we discussed the balloon arrangements over the phone prior to wedding, she was ready to go above and beyond for this wedding however she could. Then, she created this beautiful piece in the midst of power outage.

Look at the details. The florals that went with the boho chic theme! Definitely an eye catcher at the Mishaw Wedding!! 💜💍

Fun fact: The city had a power outage that caused the lights to go out and they turned on a little bit before the wedding began. Fortunately, we had an incredible vendor team that managed to continue to get the job done!

Of course we had to get some photos in at the photo booth. 🤪💜📸

Around the month 4 months + mark of consistent planning for their big day, my couples, begin to feel like family/friends!! Once their wedding is over it’s bittersweet because although I will miss those planning meetings, the hundreds of texts and emails, and getting to know little by little what makes their relationship with their partner so unique and special, I am soo happy that they have begun their happily ever after with the one that they love! I can literally do this over and over again. I love what I do! 💜✨

HAPPY WEDDING DAY TO LACRESHA & JOHN!! 🎉🍾

I have been with this couple on their journey to “happily ever after” for the 3 1/2 months, doing wedding guidance calls biweekly, helping find the right vendors, and get everything finalized so their vision can come to life. They have been simply amazing through this whole process. I am so excited for today. I am grateful that they chose me to be apart of their big day!!!

As you choose vendors for your big day, remember this: Just because it is the cheaper option doesn’t mean it is the better option. Hire professionals, with experience and systems that will make your BIG day go as smoothly as possible. Please, don’t just choose the cheapest option. Sometimes family and friends that volunteer aren’t the right option (even if they are organized) unless they do it as a profession.

You don’t have break the bank, but be reasonable. I promise you will thank yourself later and you’ll have the same look of love in your eyes as Samantha and William in this picture.✨
