::History and Today::
Thornton “Tawny” S. and his wife, Katrina “Scatter” Dangberg Glide, owned and operated the T.S. They established a charitable foundation to protect animals, wildlife, agriculture and the environment of Yolo County. The Glide Foundation op

erates out of the Pierce Ranch, the sister ranch to the Glide Ranch. Both are located in the outskirts of Davis, only minutes from downtown. The Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) operates out of the Glide Ranch. CAFF is a non-profit organization that advocates for California’s family farmers and sustainable agriculture. Proceeds from the venue rental support the projects and efforts of CAFF.

::Meetings,Weddings and Special Events::
The rooms of the Glide house are available for business meetings, workshops, staff retreats, and other small to mid-size gatherings. All of the rooms have views of the beautiful ranch and grounds. Combine use of the rooms and grounds for birthday parties, graduations, receptions, anniversaries, reunions, company picnics, and other special events.

Amanda & Cody I have known Amanda for a long time. I first met her in elementary school. Always bubbly and very friendly, she even made a CD of pictures set to a song when we all graduated high school (how thoughtful)! Needles to say, I was very excited when she contacted me!

Last summer the "PlanIt Green PlanIt Local" event was held here at Glide Ranch. The evening included a showcase from local eco-friendly event vendors, delicious food from Monticello Seasonal Cuisine, and the Wardrobe's 25th anniversary Zero Waste Fashion show! Glide Ranch is for weddings, meetings, and special events: like fashion shows! Check out this video for some footage of the fashion designs, the catwalk, and some unique shots of the venue. We enjoyed being a part of the 25th anniversary Zero Waste Fashion Show last summer--part of the "PlanIt Green PlanIt Local" event. (Hard to believe it has been over a year already!)
