In German and Dutch, they are Oma and Opa.
In Swedish, they are Mormor and Morfar.
In Japanese, they are Obaasan and Ojiisan.
In Norwegian, they are Bestemor and Bestefar.

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church was a fixture in De Smet for many years. Many of the members worked for the railroad.
