Did you know that tortoises are turtles, but not all turtles are tortoises? ... Tortoises have more rounded and domed shells where turtles have thinner, more water-dynamic shells. Turtle shells are more streamlined for swimming.

Hey Dallas friends! Please keep your eyes and ears open for Onyx so he can get home safely.

HAVE YOU SEEN ONYX?: We are asking for the public's help in keeping an eye out for Onyx, a pied crow from our animal ambassador team. He was participating in a training session for our free-flighted bird show when he flew off course and away from the rest of the flock. He was last seen heading towards the Bishop Arts District. Our staff is widening the search, but we need your help. Onyx looks like a common black crow, except for the distinctive white coloring on the front of his chest. He also has a few distinct vocalizations — he can say "hi," "hiya," and "hi Onyx." He loves people and is very friendly, so it's likely that he may approach you. If you see him, please do not attempt to gain control of him on your own. Instead, please keep eyes on him and send us a DM with your location ASAP so that we can follow up and bring him home safely.

Fun Fact!!!!!
Koalas have two thumbs on each hand! So are two thumbs better than one? Absolutely! Especially if you are an animal that spends its entire life up in the trees. The back feet even has specialized grooming fingers to keep their fur looking spiffy and clean.
