To do the first look or to not do the first look, that’s the question… I always vote to do a first look for a variety of reasons:

1. The moment you see each other for the first time and the moment you walk down the aisle are two different moments. During the first look, you will think to yourself “wow, they look amazing.” As you see each other walking down the aisle, you will think to yourself “holy sh**, I’m going to marry this amazing person.”

2. It allows you to be more present throughout the day. While your wedding day is about the two of you, you are entertaining a lot guests and will be pulled in many directions as they celebrate you. You need to take advantage of any and every moment you have together as a couple. The first look allows you dedicated time to spend one on one.

3. You will have more time to enjoy your wedding celebration. Getting photos done before the ceremony means you will have more time enjoy your cocktail hour (and all the bubbly).
