Well, that is in part up to you. Shelli Gates and I have been wanting to have a get together among friends at my property in Dinwiddie County, a little southwest of Richmond, VA. Originally we set out to invite a few friends to a cookout that would encompass a 4 day weekend, so that even folks with goofy schedules like ours could come join in for at least a couple of days. However as we plan and p
ublicize the event, it seems to be growing and developing a life of its own!!! So by the time it gets kicked off, it could very well be a full-fledged mini festival! The concept is still being developed, but plan on some good music (of which any of our musically inclined friends are not only allowed, but encouraged to participate in) some good food and a fun, wholesome family and pet friendly event that can hopefully be enjoyed by all. There are about 5 acres of groomed land on the property, so we will be facilitating primitive camping for anyone who would like to come spend a few days "back in the boonies". We will keep everyone posted as we have contact with you out and about as to how things are coming along. We will release regular posts on this page, as well, so you will know what to plan on.
