Where did the month of October go? It's been incredible for sure.

I started the month attending The Portrait Masters Shootout 2021 conference which was held in Phoenix, Arizona. IT WAS AMAZING! I had the chance to meet so many of my mentors and bond with fellow photographers that attended the event.

I'm currently wrapping up the month with my 2nd trip back to Arizona where we just finished hiking part of the Grand Canyon and Humphrey's Peak (my 1st 12,633 ft'r).

This beautiful teacher has such an incredible story to tell. World traveler, yogi, teacher, animal lover… so many interesting conversations we’ve had. Although the main objective was to nail a few headshots of Courtnay it didn’t keep us from experimenting a little afterwards. I love this Asian inspired theme of this set. Courtnay’s years of living in China gave us the wardrobe that we needed to build this story.

We came up with several different sets during our time together so you’ll be hearing more about Courtnay and seeing our other sets real soon!

The most rewarding part of being a creative is to see your work being enjoyed by others.

Each piece that you see here was chosen by the client to suit his taste and vision for his room. The client's love of all works in the Chihuly Collection prompted this purchase. He chose to go large with this collection. Check out the sizes in the 2nd image and see how we put this piece together.

Loved spending time with my family and enjoying New England for a bit. The kids may have lives of their own now but can’t help but long for the day that we can return home and be somewhat closer to them.

A little behind on printing out some images from my time in New England but got to a few today. This one is of my son Cody and his partner Amanda. I love it so much. They’re a beautiful couple. I’ll lovingly display this print and remember our time together.

What a privilege it was to photograph this handsome guy right here. I enjoyed this shoot so much.

His Mom trusted me to capture a very special moment in his life- his First Communion. Not only did we get some beautiful shots of the entire family at the church but we got him all dressed up in his finest.

From there, we took the session into the studio where we continued on getting several different looks. We changed the backdrops as we went to match the various outfits that were used. We got so many amazing images to remember this moment.

After the reveal, his parents ordered their favorites which were then fine edited, printed & matted - ready to frame. They now have several options to display their images. Either framed on the wall or placed in their gorgeous new leather folio box handcrafted in Italy.

Top that off with a custom made canvas of their most favorite image AND as an extra special cherry on top - the GORGEOUS Storybook showcasing all of their images. This new product is beyond special.
