Another way you can make your wedding more personal is by honoring your loved ones, rather they are able to physically attend or not.

This could include: placing pictures of those who passed away on seats for the ceremony, having a memorial table, placing charms around your bouquet, utilizing zoom, or even having your pets be part or your wedding party (yes it happens!)😅

Have you ever considered a backyard wedding? They are rising in popularity again, in response to COVID-19. Backyard weddings can be fun because you get to be creative as you want since it is at your home. You can practically use any decorations you want, hire your own staff, make it as personal as possible and more. On the flip side, you may need permission from the city, begin proper maintenance for landscaping, need a backup plan from unexpected weather, or get rentals to accommodate guests, such as generators, portable bathrooms, tents, etc.
Depending on your budget, a backyard wedding can be cost effective or too expensive.

Weddings are meant for everyone to enjoy, but it should truly be about what the couple wants. Although it’s nice having a second or third opinion from the people you love, it’s important to make sure your final decisions are truly what you want. It’s okay to break traditions as long as you and your significant other are happy with the outcome. You don’t have to only serve cake or have a wedding cake at all. Want to wear another color besides white? Go for it! You don’t want to make a grand entrance/exit? That’s okay too! You don’t want a bridal party?
That’s perfectly fine, your wedding will still happen.
