The program features two productions a year, including a biennial all-school musical in collaboration with North's phenomenal music department. In addition to performing and technical opportunities, the theatre program features a Student Directing Program that allows students the opportunity to step into a leadership role and experience a new side of theatre. The Theatre Program functions independ

ently and collaboratively as part of the Performing Arts Department, which encompasses band, choir, orchestra, and theatre. In addition to its success on stage, the EC North Theatre Program is active in the community and supports excellence in and out of the classroom. EC North Theatre is currently under the leadership of director Zach Schultz and assistant director Michelle Roemmich.

Attention performers and theatre artists ages 16-24! We encourage you to check out WSF's young artists' troupe, Merely Players.

Merely Players is an audition-based young performers’ troupe with compensated membership through the Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival. There will be four major components to membership - public performance opportunities beyond our four walls (Ambassadors), opportunities for shadowing professional actors & technicians (Access Program), producing an educational traveling program for kids (Shakespeare for (Very) Young Audiences) and a humorous, irreverent performance series (Late Night Shakes). This is the perfect summer gig for students and pre-professionals who hope to gain theatrical experience!

The Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild is seeking applications for their 2022 Scholarship Program. $1,200 in scholarship money is awarded annually to a high school senior(s) pursuing music or theatre in college in the fall and/or a college student(s) continuing in Music or Theatre. Scholarships will be awarded in May. Applications are available at cvtg.org.
