Our Story

Hi, my name is Carrie Haas.

I grew up on a family farm just outside of Elizabeth, Illinois. My great-grandparents built our farmhouse shortly after the Civil War. It sits at the end of a long lane between two big, beautiful hills. This scenic location inspired the name for the property, “Little Valley Farm.”

My time on the farm was filled with adventure and life lessons. I have fond memories of climbing the hills, visiting the nearby river, and listening to my family tell colorful stories about the past.

I eventually married the boy who lived 3 miles down the road from our farm. Over the years, my husband, Brad, and I have had many adventures and are planning for many more with our three sons.

In 2014, we turned our dreams into reality with the help of our families. We launched Life Unlocked, a home organization business.

As Life Unlocked grew, many clients also wanted us to sell their antiques and vintage goods. We took their unique treasures and combined them with our own collection, which we accumulated from many years of auctions, hunting, and sales. To resell these unique goods, we opened another business—Little Valley Vintage.

To honor my family’s life on the farm, I recently rebranded my two businesses under the name The Little Valley Life, LLC. This company brings to you two businesses—Little Valley Vintage and Little Valley Organizers (previously named Life Unlocked).

Little Valley Vintage is dedicated to repurposing and reselling unique antiques, vintage goods, and family heirlooms. We have a passion for finding once-loved antiques and turning them into gorgeous treasures that your whole family is sure to love.

Little Valley Organizers is dedicated to helping people clean, organize, and downsize their homes, as well as helping people plan special events. We help alleviate the stress of organizing and planning.

My family’s history in the hills has molded me into the woman I am today. I have learned that everything I touch has value, and with a touch of love, anything can be made beautiful.
