The pirate ship was entirely real. All the shots were filmed in the ship. After the film, it was offered to anyone who would take it. No one wanted it, so the ship was scrapped.

In this 1985 classic, a group of young misfits called The Goonies discover an ancient map and set out on an adventure to find a legendary pirate's long-lost treasure.

Movies Facts:
Chunk actor Jeff Cohen contracted chickenpox and was so concerned about losing the part that he turned up on set regardless. (This can be seen during the famous 'truffle shuffle' sequence.) Cohen later retired from acting, slimming down and eventually becoming an entertainment lawyer.

Coming soon It Ends With Us staring Blake Lively. It Ends with Us is a romance novel by Colleen Hoover, published by Atria Books on August 2, 2016. Based on the relationship between her mother and father, Hoover described it as "the hardest book I've ever written."
As of 2019, the novel had sold over one million copies worldwide and been translated into over twenty languages. A sequel titled It Starts with Us was published in October 2022.
