This weekend, we had the absolute pleasure of capturing a couple who knows how to throw one heck of a wedding! Imagine kicking off your first look while the were performing —talk about timing!

These two were nothing short of epic, and we made sure to catch every single jaw-dropping moment. From their unique first look at the rooftop to a dance floor that was practically on fire (thanks to their dance-happy crew), this day was a non-stop thrill ride. Cheers to the newlyweds who nailed the “fun” in wedding fundamentals

Fer & Jonathon’s wedding weekend in Queretaro, Mexico, was an absolute dream come true! Fernanda poured her heart into every single detail, creating an unforgettable international getaway experience for all of their friends and family. From the enchanting welcome party that transported us to the romantic countryside of Italy to the lively surprise of the traditional Callejoneada, filled with vibrant dancing, bursts of color, and of course, plenty of Tequila! It was like stepping into a fairytale where the magic of captivated us all.

It was the perfect start to our 2024 wedding season, and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Here’s to love, laughter, and countless more beautiful celebrations ahead!

Our Story

We're Juancho + Johana. Originally from Medellin - Colombia. Our love, story and style of photography are one of a kind: genuine, wholehearted and nontraditional! We each give our special touch: one likes to make use of reflections and dramatic lighting for that artistic photo (#1 priority if you're a photographer in Chicago) and the other has a superb eye for those special details and moments that make up an unforgettable day! And what about our personalities... well Juan is energetic, full of life and always happy (no, not exaggerating) and I'm his balance, more calm and down to earth. Aside from our style, we believe the connection and bond we make with the couple is essential for those natural and organic pictures that will be cherished for a lifetime. And don't be surprised if we become good friends after the wedding, having spent so much time together we practically end up knowing each other quite well and it's only natural to develop a friendship.
