Believed to be stolen on 9/11 in Franklin, NC. He could be anywhere. Please look everywhere. Watch for neighbors that just got a new dog. Watch for people with a pet they didn't have before. Look everywhere.
DESCRIPTION: Mixed Breed
-ALL BLACK (not a spec of white on him)
-Male
-Long Haired, flat coat
-Stands approx 16"-18β tall to his shoulders (roughly knee high)
-Has some gray on his muzzle.
-Tail: Like that of a Collie or Golden Retriever
-Loves riding on the back of a Harley
Recovery Efforts:
-HE WAS NOT MISTAKENLY RESCUED AND KEPT - his collar was secure and had tags with my phone number on them. They could not have fallen off. It was a secure collar, and I replaced the cheap tag rings with actual key rings. If someone picked him up they would have had my phone number.
-Search dogs have been hired, and lost the scent on the side of Hwy 64 less than a mile from the campground I was staying at.
-Drones have been used to search surrounding areas.
-I have laid down scent trails.
-I have tried grilling bacon, etc. near sightings and leaving a trap overnight.
-I have clothing set out near camp
-Dozens of eyes have scoured the area within a 5 mile radius daily for two weeks.
-He is posted on all the major lost pet sites.
Asheville News 13 has run a story on him and shared him with their sister stations. We have coverage in 5 states.
-Other radio stations have also run news articles.
This little guy means everything to me. Weβve logged thousands of miles together on my Harley and he goes everywhere with me. Please help me find my buddy!
