Freedom Food Festival starts at 5pm. 🇺🇸

If you want something to do this evening, join us at the Freedom Food Festival in Lexington from 5-8pm. We're donating and plating up 350-400 meals that are a little different than our usual offering. We're paired up with Yellow Brick Road Early Learning Center, and our sandwich will have a 2oz split link of kielbasa topped with a 4 oz equal blend of chopped brisket and pork, then coleslaw, pickled red onions, and dill pickles topped with sauce. Being paired with Yellow Brick Road, we call this sandwich "The Oz"! For sides, we're serving our delicious potato salad and adding smoked bacon to it. We're going old school with a baked bean recipe we used to do back in the old days. The baked beans have peppers, onions, smoked bacon, pork, brisket, and apples and are seasoned well. Come support this fundraiser and enjoy live music and cold beverages starting at 5pm. You can buy meal tickets through Freedom Fest.

Lowe’s in Lexington reached out to us a few weeks ago asking if we’d be interested in selling barbecue in their parking lot, so this Friday we’re giving it a shot. We’ll be there selling from 10am-2pm or sold out, and may stay longer if we’re still getting sales late in the day. Stop by to get some barbecue for the Mothers Day weekend. Friday's Special is a pastrami sandwich on rye slathered w/mustard $12.95. Please help us spread the word, thank you!

We’re getting so close to having live music up here again regularly! Alex Shreve kicks off the season next Saturday, April 13 from 4-7. Hogback Mtn BBQ will be serving, and it’s forecasted to be a beautiful day. From then on, we’ll have music just about every Saturday through October.
