We popped 5 more bouquets in the stand just now. They are a mix of heirloom chrysanthemums, sunflowers and dahlias.
We'll keep putting flowers in the stand as we begin the process of tearing out the gardens. Fun times ahead! Hopefully it doesn't get too cold on us.

It finally feels like fall on the farm and while most flowers are fading some are going incredibly strong... maybe you can guess from the pics. Dahlias! They are producing so many gorgeous stems. I'm sad to see cold temps in the forecast for this weekend and next week.
We'll probably cover these beauties and some others to keep them going a bit longer, but since their friends are winding down you'll find extra dahlia stems in this week's bunches. Yay! 😁

Happy almost Autumn!
We're hard at work picking for gorgeous fall weddings, autumn arrangements and church. We put some of those autumn arrangements in the stand for you. Keep watch here we are also going to be putting the boys pumpkins out this weekend and a bunch of fun items for you to arrange in porch pots and fur your front door.

Happy Friday evening everyone! Yes those are tomatoes patiently waiting for me to take a minute and give them some attention. With this heat wave coming, I'm going to do just that.
So once the last bunches of flowers are gone from the stand, we'll be closing it up until mid next week or whenever this weather changes. 🤷 It's hard on the plants and us to be poking around in them when it's so warm. 🥵

Heat advisory...
It's way too hot... For anything this mid week. So there won't be any flowers in the stand until the heat wave breaks.
We did pick before the heat set in so we do have fresh flowers in the cooler if you are in need of any. Just message me and we'll get you taken care of.

Earlier this week I mentioned abundance and yes we still have an abundance of flowers but also allergies is my new word for the weekend.
Mine have hit rock bottom so I'm feeling a lot under the weather, but... I didn't want to let all this beauty go to waste so I'm hoping you all will roll with me and enjoy a weekend of build your own bouquets at the stand.

We are feeling very blessed to get a shot of rain tonight. The gardens are thirsty for some wonderful rain.
We popped a half dozen bouquets in the stand tonight. All feature hydrangeas since my plants are simply busting with blooms. We'll see how they hold up with this rain.
We have more flowers picked just not in the stand yet... Hopefully more to come tomorrow that will feature Gladiolas, zinnias and sunflowers. Ahhh the bounty of summer always sounds me. God is good!

We picked a bunch of beautiful sweet colored flowers yesterday. We put a eight bunches in the stand this morning. We have lots more flowers in the cooler, so when these are gone we'll pop more in the stand. Most bunches feature dahlias, cosmos, pincushions, globe amaranth, and herbs for greens.

So it's a green day in the gardens today... Veggie day with the boys. My favorite time of year... eating fresh from the garden.🥦🥒🥔
We are so blessed!!
As always we are trying to bring unique beautiful flowers to our little part of the world. We love growing dahlias but usually don't get to harvest these beauties until late August.
This year I decided to try a new technique to push the dahlias to bloom earlier and thank the good Lord it worked!
We've been blessed to be getting dahlia blooms for a couple weeks now...a full two months early!! They are still a little short but hopefully we'll be sharing them with you in person soon. Since they aren't showing up in arrangements yet, I wanted to let you see some of our first ones here.
I love all of these beauties. God is so good!!

I hope you all are having a glorious weekend so far. We've been working in the veggie gardens getting them some much needed water. We did take a short break and made bouquets for the stand and church. We hope you get a chance to stop by and grab one. They are filled with lilies, peonies, yarrow, Canterbury bells and a few other bits. If you grab flowers this week and want the best vase life, make sure to change your water regularly. The yarrow can make it look dirty and clog up stems of the other flowers

We got to work with an abundance of peonies and irises this morning to put together subscription and flower stand bouquets. What a fun morning!!
The stand is stocked with mixed peony, mixed peony/iris and straight peony bunches. A dozen in all. The weather looks to be beautiful so I'll be leaving then I'm the stand until they are gone.
