Friday is quickly becoming my favorite day!
LOOK AT THESE AWESOME PEOPLE!!

First up this week is our girl Audrey! 🌷
Audrey is approaching one full year working here and it’s been a great trip around the sun for her. Back in the day, Audrey used to be one of our customers when she owned her own shop called “by arrangement only”. Audrey went to floral design school at Rittners in Boston, Ma. She has worked as a vocational technical teacher in greenhouse management and floral design. Audrey has spent her working years working for florists and nurseries all over southeastern MA. As much as she loves designing, she loves her customers even more! 🌷

Up next is a legend in the supply department- JOAN!🎀
Joanie started out as a picker in 2004 and has been here for 20 wonderful years. Joan took over the front desk management, supervised flower packing, quality control, identifying and solving flower issues, and receiving incoming trucks daily with her packing crew. After 6 years in that position Joan switched to fresh cut flowers where she built a customer base from nothing. Joan switched to our supply department in 2016 and now has a customer list with over 400 customers, some of which have followed her from fresh flower sales. Joanne is well known for her exceptional relationship with her customers and her extensive knowledge in supplies.

Last, but definitely not least is Tom!! 📦
If you have ever come in to pick up anything from our warehouse, you will probably have seen him dressed to the nines packing and preparing our boxes for shipping. every day he comes to work with a happy face and a good morning for everyone he sees. He works hard every day to make sure that the Packers have what they need to be efficient and organized when they are packing your orders. Tom also has a helping hand in loading our trucks. Tom has been with our company for 18 years, and even 18 years later he is still a ray of sunshine.☀️

It’s FRIDAY 🥳 that means its time for our staff highlights!

First up is a face you may recognize ….
One of our most experienced sales reps Joe Antunes💐
Joe has worked for Fall River Florist Supply for 41 years- yup you read that right… FOURTY ONE! Joe was here taking orders before we had computers to enter them with. (He was out there with his rock and chisel entering orders 😂) Joey started with us as a part time packer/loader and eventually went into fresh cut sales. Long time customers may have had the pleasure of seeing his happy face in person many times at our shows. 🌷

Next up…our newest plant/supply sales rep Lewis Koppleman! 🏺🪴
Do you recognize the last name?! Lewis grew up in this building coming to work with his dad. From a young age he attended floral shows and spent his summers in college working here at Fall River Florist Supply. After college he maintained his sales career in New York City 🏙️ and later in Los Angeles! His passion for the floral industry led him back to us. He is now a full time plant/supply sales rep working alongside his dad!

Last but not least… our personal hero and payroll manager Cheryl!! 💵🌻
Cheryl has worked for FRFS for 23 years and counting. She is in charge of payroll (we love that for us 😂♥️) and accounting. 🧾 Cheryl is our HR manager and a huge important part of our company. Fun fact- Cheryl has a twin sister that also works here!

HAPPY FRIDAY!! On todays episode of get to know our employees…we have some who are doing life here at FRFS. 🚨🚔

First up this week is KIM 🌸
Kim started at FRFS over 26 years ago in accounting and has been working in fresh cut flower sales for about 7 years now. Kim has unlimited knowledge about flowers, helps train new staff, and has WONDERFUL relationships with her customers. Kim is also a big part of marketing and a big part of creating the weekly flyers that go out to our customers! She also happens to be the voice on the recording when you call in 💛Kim Reis

Next up is Mike Carvalho- 🌻
Mike has worked for our company for 22 years. Mike is our daytime flower packing department manager. Mike oversees the packing crew and all flowers packed during daytime hours. Mike is always more than willing to help a lost salesperson navigate our expansive coolers when looking for product to take pictures of and always has a smile for you. His dedication to getting quality flowers to our customers is much appreciated!!

And finally we have Steve Koppleman 🏺🪴
Steve has worked for FRFS for upwards of 36 years. Steve is the floral supply sales department manager and oversees all operations in the supply department. Our supply department is extensive and Steve is forever dedicated to keeping it running smoothly as well as making sure we have the things our customers need.

BONUS FACT‼️ ALL employees featured this week have one or more of their children who also work for Fall River Florist supply. Keep checking back every Friday to see their kids, and maybe even a family photo shoot? 🤫

First up this week we have Sarah in fresh cut sales.
🌷 Sarah 🌷has been in the floral business her entire life- and we mean her ENTIRE life. Sarah started in high school studying AG science(floriculture) and worked for retail florists in event/wedding design before starting her journey in wholesale. Sarah will be celebrating 10 years with FRFS this fall! Sarah is also a big part of our marketing design (Dutch etc.) 🎉

🏺Next up is Erica Martin in our supply department. ✂️✂️Erica ✂️has worked for Fall River Florist Supply for over 11 years as a procurement specialist and supervisor in the supply department. (Aka she gets us the goods!! ♥️) Erica enjoys her job and is dedicated to getting our customers everything they need.

Last but definitely not least…
🪴Dave Beattie started with us as a picker once we reopened after Covid. Dave now is responsible for the day to running of the greenhouse and has made it his mission to bring rare plants into our greenhouse! (Keeping up with the care of that many plants is hard work 👏🏻) outside of work Dave attends college and enjoys spending time with his two young daughters.
