we hit 30k on our birthday! and we didn’t buy any of you 🤭 it’s officially been TWO years since we re-located our studio to arkansas. a long way from my tiny 800 sq ft studio in brooklyn. younger me would be so proud right now. current me is even more proud of all that we have accomplished in such a short time. despite what you see on social, it has been anything but easy. especially with two toddlers in the mix, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. we still have so much to do, so much to create and this next year holds so many exciting things for us that we can’t wait to see unfold.
advice i would tell myself two years ago before opening our studio in a new market:
♥️ you’re allowed to do things differently, that’s what sets you apart.
♥️ people will find your success as a threat. do it anyway.
♥️ hold out for the right clients, they will find you.
♥️ never minimize your talents or accomplishments to make others like you. it’s ok to be disliked, you don’t even like everyone.
♥️ never settle, and never get too comfortable. there’s always more to discover.
♥️ may the bridges you burn light the way. 🕯️well, the bridges that are holding you back. 😉
