It’s finally Friday!. Good morning to all of our friends and followers. We’ve been blessed with quite a few new likes and follows this week. The good Lord has given us some much needed rain!. Thankfully, we were able to squeeze in our annual family pictures beforehand. With the holiday season upon us, we want to know what everybody’s favorite item in their Thanksgiving meal is!. Our next fencing project is underway. We’re taking out another section of the original worn out fencing and replacing it with no climb horse fencing and adding an additional lane & trap off of the back of the horse barn. Thankful for S&T Ag Services for doing a quality job for us again.

Fall calving season has begun here at the ranch’s leased cow pasture. The first calf hit the ground late last night and is a brown heifer calf. Both cow and calf are doing well and enjoying the hazy, cool morning. We’re looking forward to seeing the remaining calves drop!.

Keypad and remote actuated electric gate at the entrance for security, multiple large routinely fertilized & mowed grass pastures with mature oaks throughout for shade, 12x12 rubber matted stalls with runouts, tack room, feed room, bathroom, break area with table & chairs. Yesterday was a busy afternoon at the barn!. Melman, Holly and Mooney (our new 3 year old broodmare prospect) were brought out into the exercise area for practice, excercise and playtime. Nothing better than seeing horses being brought out of the barn and taking advantage of a beautiful sunny afternoon!.

Next up is George, an approximately 12yo 34” mini Jack. SWEET as can be! You would never know he was a Jack until you put a new Jenny in with him. We love him dearly, but all our big girls are bred and they are less than impressed with him and not so nice to him!
You can halter him and lead him around easily. He really just wants love! A bit shy at first but once you start the scratches, he’s your best friend! Fresh coggins and he will see the farrier this week!

*Found the perfect home!!!*

I have finally convinced my husband, we do not need to keep every baby born here. With that being said this precious girl Tink will be available, ONLY to the perfect home!
Tink was born here on July 19, 2022.
She has been the picture of health a pure delight since she was born. She is halter broke, lets you pick up her feet, is excellent with kids, & is all around a big sweet heart! Her mama is a large standard girl, so we expect her to be the same. She has been around horses and is curious about them, does fine turned out with them.
It is hard to find a gentle donkey that has been worked with since birth, if you are looking for the perfect pet or companion she is your girl!
We do not have to get rid of her, but I think she would make an amazing addition to someone’s pasture and could make someone’s heart as full as mine is!
*She is fully vaxxed and has seen the farrier several times.
Donkeys are seriously the best!

Boarding client spotlight time!.

Everyone, say hello to Melman. He is an 18 year old Thoroughbred gelding. He joined the herd last year when he moved to Florida from Massachusetts. He is an absolute joy to be around in the barn, and gets along with everyone in the herd during their evening pasture turnout. He is trained in English discipline and was a fox hunter before he sustained a suspensory injury. He and his owner were told that he would have to retire from strenuous exercise and competing. His owner and Cody & Brooke decided to try and change that. Just today, he was cleared to resume strenuous exercise, training, and competitions!. We couldn’t be happier for this sweet boy and his owner on their wonderful news today!. Congratulations Melman and we can’t wait to watch you return to your former job!,

We are pulling soil samples ahead of our summer time fertilizing of our pastures. By doing this, we can see what our soil is lacking in, apply that via fertilizer!. Summer is here, and the grass is growing!.

Everyone say good morning to Harper!. She and her owner are the first to join our boarding program. She is a 9 year old quarter horse who’s trained in ranch riding competitions, reining, and trail riding.
