The ranch and all structures are unharmed. All horses, donkeys, cows, and barn cats are accounted for and not injured. All fences are intact and not damaged. We were so incredibly blessed and grateful, while deeply saddened for our fellow Floridians who have lost everything. We’re keeping them in our thoughts and prayers. We ask that our boarding clients do not attempt to drive out to the barn until tomorrow, so that power crews can clear the downed lines and trees.

This morning, we grabbed a few of our horses and went for a trail ride out at Bluefield Road Preserve. The weather was beautiful and all 4 horses did amazing!. Wyatt rode and handled his pony Jasper perfectly!. Our 4 year old mare Mooney went on her first ever offsite trail ride while leading the pack and performed like an old pro!. She never spooked, or put up any resistance!. Those 60 days at Jimbo Albritton made one heck of an impact on her abilities!.

We’ve mowed all of our horse pastures. Today, we’re seed drilling Bahia seed into the ground to boost the grass production and grazing capabilities of 2 of our horse pastures. We will rest these 2 pastures to allow them to grow in properly. Green grass makes for happy & healthy horses!.

It’s pasture improvement project time!. With the help of South Florida Land Clearing, Inc., we’re mowing all of our pastures and seed drilling 2 of them this week. Now we just need to cross our fingers and pray for rain!. 🙏🤞Green pastures make happy horses!.
