I have been in the floral industry for over 25 years and doing Interior design consulting for 15. I love a project, dissecting it, molding it and breathing life into it. I love being able to transform a room and create an atmosphere that perfectly fits my client. I love fresh flowers! Ranunculus, Sunflowers, Peonies, Tulips, Sea Holly, Hydrangeas, Carnations.......yep, I admit it, I love the varie

ty of colors they have, and banked or grouped together in an arrangement, pretty fabulous. I love permanent botanicals! I'm a bit of a flower snob, if it's artificial it must look real! I love to create any type of floral piece; for a table, a funeral, weddings or just because. The opportunity to design for a client with flowers or in accessories, just makes me grateful and happy!

Wife, Mom, Nana, Teacher, Christian, Friend. I know these are just a few of the titles this lovely woman held. Over the past few days when Kay’s name was mentioned, nearly every person said how kind she was. Sweet was the next popular choice. Being mentioned as one of the kindest and sweetest people you will ever know, well I think that’s pretty wonderful.

Today, my Natalie, said goodbye to her very special Aunt. And as I listened to the words spoken of her from her children, grandchildren, Natalie and others, two words kept revolving throughout the service, “kindness and love”.
Aunt Lori was so genuine with her care, kindness and love for her family and others.

Most of us think we had the greatest Husband, Dad and Grandpa, and for this family they did. This family wanted to celebrate all of the moments he loved. Michigan games…a faithful fan, Go Blue! Trips to Hawaii and Florida, collecting shells along the beach. Fishing at the lake, creating memories with his precious grandchildren. Watching the birds, looking for his favorite Bluebirds and Cardinals. And being a man of tremendous faith and sharing that faith with others.
May we all remember to take in and savor all the moments together big and small, they are all precious and a gift.

When you live to be 98 there are lots of stories, memories and wonderful details your family and friends remember and share about your life. I met Marcella pretty early on when I moved here. I would see her nearly every time I was at the grocery store. One thing I remember about her was she was always smiling and liked to laugh. Her flower beds around her house were always beautiful! I admired them long before I ever knew her. Some say she may have loved talking on the phone as much as she loved her flowers, but one thing I know for sure, nothing could top how much she loved her family. When I would see her, that was what she was always eager to share about, what was new, exciting and happening with her family. Thrivent Financial added new boxes to their railings and some autumn splendor 🍁🍂🍃

I took this video after we placed the centerpieces. Judy’s staff were hustling around setting stations up and making sure everything was perfect for the luncheon. A few were reminiscing about moments with Judy, some with teary eyes and others with laughter. But the respect and love that they had for Judy shined brightly. An Uncle of mine passed away recently who worked for the railroad. This light hung in my grandparents house for as long as I can remember. My uncle had given it to my Grandpa. When we received the news of my uncles passing, I was trying to decide what to work into the arrangement. As I was thinking about it, my phone rang and it was my Dad. He asked if I had started the arrangement yet and I told him I hadn’t. He then told me he was bringing me the railroad light. He even brought along the battery lights that flash on and off for me to attach in! (My dad and I are very similar, especially when it comes to the details.)
