Before opening my business, Judith McQueen Entertaining, I was a private chef for 7 years spending every summer in Martha’s Vineyard. I wouldn’t even plan the day’s menu until I had gone to the farm to see what they were pulling from the ground that morning or taken from the sea that afternoon. I approach my weddings & celebrations the same way only now I am asking my local farmers to plant specifically for upcoming events. It makes such a difference in the taste and color of the food."
