Exhibitor registration deadlines are as follows:
- All Livestock by Monday, August 12, 7 pm
- Still Exhibits for clubs and youth groups by Wednesday, August 14 at 7 pm
- All other open youth and adult still exhibits by Thursday, August 15 at 6 pm

2024 Houghton County Fair exhibitor registration deadlines:
Monday, August 12, 7 pm is the deadline to register all livestock for the fair
Wednesday, August 14 at 7 pm is the club and youth group deadline for still exhibits
Thursday, August 15 at 6 pm all open youth and open adult registrations are due.

Office hours will be 10 am to 7 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and 10 am to 6 pm on Thursday.
Exhibitors tags may be picked up on Monday, August 19, from 10 to 6 pm or during the work bee.
Bring your still exhibits to the Exhibit Building on Tuesday, August 20 between 4 and 7 pm, or Wednesday, August 21 between 9 am and 1 pm. Judging takes place Wednesday after 1 pm.

Press Release:
The Houghton County Fair will be from August 22 to August 25, 2024, at the fairgrounds in Hancock. This year’s Houghton County Fair lineup of entertainment has been completed.
The Skerbeck Midway and Carnival will be open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Mega bands are available at skerbeck.com.
Victoria’s Circus and Thrill Show will be on the south end of the midway with multiple shows per day. This will include the Wheel of Death motorcycle riders, and other circus feats.
Magical Bubbles will be on the ball field next to the Kiddie Rides, open when the carnival is open, along with the Whispering Pines Mobile Zoo next to the Ball Field.
Inside of the HOCO Arena will be the Butterfly Encounter, open daily when the building is open.
Motocross Races are Thursday night.
Friday night is the Farm Tractor Pull followed by the Off Road Derby in the main event arena.
Monster Truck Throwdown will be at 7:30 on Saturday night.
Sunday afternoon will be the Tuff Truck Competition in the main event arena. This is a race against the clock.
Local music this year will be Lightning Ridge during Senior Citizen’s Day on Friday afternoon.
Chad Borgen and the Collectives will pay at 7 p.m. on Thursday evening.
One Voice UP will be playing at 7 on Friday evening.

Final Reminder:
Exhibitors that would like to raise market hogs, market lambs or market goats should fill out the “RESERVE A PEN” form by April 1st so the superintendents know if the number of animals will exceed the current space available. The registration papers, after you have purchased your animals, are due May 15 for hogs, and June 1 for lambs and goats. These exhibitors shall be aged 7 to 19 by December 31st.
The forms can be found on the website, www.houghtoncountyfair.com , or email the fair office at [email protected], or call (906-482-6200) or visit the fair office in the HoCo Arena at the fairgrounds. Office hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from noon to 3 p.m.
