Update: My original plan was to sell the business but after sitting down with my agents Josh and Jamie White, we have decided to go a different route. My mission from day one was to have a place where brides and formal girls could come and find a dress at an affordable cost. Since my post about closing, I have had several people reach out for appointments but I was not able to do that because I couldn’t let go of inventory if I was going to sell and that just wasn’t sitting well with me. So with that being said, I have decided to do a close out sale instead of selling the business. That means we still get to provide beautiful dresses at an even bigger discount until the very end. And that to me feels better in my heart.
*The sale will start out at 25% off all NEW INVENTORY ( this does not include consignment)
* The sale is only on what we have in stock. ( We will not be able to order a different size in any dress)
So if you are a soon to be bride, please keep that in mind. Everything is off the rack.
* Everything in the store ( bridal front) is for sale. Decor, racks, furniture,lighting ect……
* If you still have consignment dresses in the store, we will try our best to sell them and you will get your percentage as soon as we do.

Making my original post below was tough. It took me at least an hour to figure out how I wanted to address everything and I can’t even tell you how many times I deleted and re did it. So I just wanted to clarify a few things as I’m getting messages:
* If you have consignment dresses in the store they are not going anywhere. You can setup a time with me personally to come and get them or message the page.
* If you have already paid for the spray tanning package we offer, you can still use those. To schedule an appointment, just send us a message. We are still going to be there at least through the end of September and it could be longer depending on when the business sells. With that being said, when the salon moves locations we absolutely are planning to still offer spray tans. There are some final things that still need to be done but I promise to keep everyone updated. So yes, your loyalty cards are still valid ❤️
* I have gotten interest in the business since my post. We are still finalizing everything and the business will be sold through a realtor. So once it is active, I will share that information. And any questions you have about the business you will be able to contact them.

I promise to do my best and respond to everyone as quickly as possible if you send a message through messenger. And once we have an official date that we will no longer be there, I promise to inform everyone.

Long Post:
It is with a heavy heart that I let everyone know that I have decided to put the Bridal and Formal business up for sale. This has been far from an easy decision, a decision I have kept to myself and something I have been thinking about for a couple months. The business will be on the market by September 1st. With that being said, someone can buy the business and choose to stay at the same location, someone can buy the business and choose a different location or someone can choose to just buy all inventory and not keep the business name at all.
Being a business owner is not an easy task, especially being a single mom with 2 boys who are very involved in sports and other activities. There is so much more potential for this store and I am fully aware of that. My youngest son still has 4 more years of school and sports left and potentially more and I am not willing to miss out on any of it. So if that means I have to let go of one of my businesses, then that is what I will do because I won’t get this time back with my kids.
We have met so many wonderful people and could not be more thankful to those who decided to support a small business and choose us. We may not have had 1,000 dresses on the floor or the specific designer dress that everyone had to have, but we did have beautiful dresses at affordable costs. If someone fell in love with a dress but needed extra time to make payments, we made sure that happened. We made sure that not only our brides but our formal girls had the best experience by providing personal stress free appointments. I would spend many of hours behind my computer just to find the perfect custom prom dress for someone. If you sent us a message on fb, regardless the day or time, we did our best to respond as quickly as possible. That is what set us apart from big chain stores. I am so thankful for my mom ( Missy) because without her, I couldn’t have done it. She did a great job with making sure everyone had the best experience. I will forever be grateful for Rhonda ( our seamstress) and I hope everyone continues to choose her for your bridal or formal needs.
If you have appointments on the book to pick a dress up, your appointment will still remain. If you still would like to come in for a spray tan, you can still message us on messenger and make an appointment at least through the end of September. If you have consignment dresses in the store you can either message us to see when you can come and get them or you can wait to see if the new potential owner would like to keep them and try to sell them for you.
Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who supported us in this journey. We have made many amazing memories here and will forever cherish those. And please always remember to support local businesses if you can.
