Job Title: Venue Manager / Event Planner - Home Event Center

Job Type: Part-time (10-20 hours per week)

Pay: Starting $12-15/hr (commissions available)

Job Description:
The Home Event Center is a new wedding venue / banquet hall in downtown Hays. We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven event planner and venue manager to oversee the operations and growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing, social media, networking events, and collaborations with local businesses
Showings with potential clients
Convert leads to bookings
Customer relationship management
Coordinate and hire staff for cleaning, bartending, set-up, and maintenance.
Event planning (private and public events).
Includes financial analysis of events

Minimum Requirements:
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the event industry
Strong marketing skills
Proven experience in event management, sales, or a related field
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong business acumen
Class work in the Tourism and Hospitality Management field preferred
