Our Story

5J’s BBQ began in Orange County, CA. We frequented farmer’s markets throughout Southern California serving our signature pulled pork street tacos with Sriracha slaw, whole smoked chickens, pulled pork sandwiches, and even pulled pork grilled cheese sandwiches. 5J’s BBQ also participated in many BBQ competitions, even winning a few! Our cuts are smoked for hours and use our own secret marinade and injection recipe as well as special rubs. Pulled pork, ribs, brisket, chicken - we have all the best cuts that you love.

One of our daughters moved to Mississippi, so for many years we traveled to visit her and tasted the variety of BBQ offered throughout the Mid-South. In 2017, we made the move from Orange County, California to DeSoto County, Mississippi. We spent a bit of time getting settled in but are eager to get back to doing what we love---sharing the best BBQ with all of you.

We are available to cater your next event--whether big or small--and will customize the menu to meet your needs. We look forward to serving you and making your next gathering one your guests won’t forget!
