The news I have been so excited to share with you all!

Let me introduce you to the newest addition to Mista Marie Photography.... JEN!!! ✨ my admin assistant 🫶🏻

Let me just say, she is a gift from above and the perfect fit. I could not be more grateful for her. Making the decision to hire someone for help was not an easy one for me, but she has made this transition easier than I could have ever imagined.. I literally could cry knowing how much weight she has lifted off my shoulders already. So incredibly happy to have her apart of MMP 🤍

Little backstory...For those of you who have been here since the beginning, you know that my first conversation ever with was when she asked me if I would photograph her friends wedding that she was in... At the time I have never shot a wedding, so told her I would not be the right fit. Well... Jen, was THAT friend! So all because Jen needed a wedding photog I connected with Hannah 😉 who as you all know is now one of my besties, AND re-introduced me to Jen with the idea of using her for my admin assistant. FULL CIRCLE MOMENT. It was fate that we were meant to work together one way or another 🫶🏻

But anyways, I have been so excited to share this news! Having her is going to be huge for my business. Being a small business owner, a lot of times I am on my own for everything and do everything myself..Now that I have Jen, I am able to put more of my focus on the creative side of things-which is why I am here doing what I am doing in the first place!

Cheers to faster response times, more time for editing galleries, and someone to help keep me organized and on track with it all. WELCOME JEN 🥂 🤍

It has been over a month since I last posted (oops). I finished the sneak peak for the Rowley's yesterday so figured I would share some of my favs from Maggie + Scott's wedding this past weekend! 🤩 These two made it hard to take a bad photo..their smiles were just shining from the start of the day.

Little availability update...☀️

Sunset time slots for the summer are pretty much all taken up! I do offer sunrise sessions as well so if you would like to wake up early with me, and still get that golden hour glow, we most definitely can! I still have spots to fit you in for the summer, but I am mostly booking into September and on!

We went into this shoot with it being pretty gloomy and cloudy and ended it with one of the prettiest sunsets! 🤩 We could not have timed it all out more perfectly! So happy for McKenna & Chase!

It has been a minute since I have come on here and introduced myself, so figured I would come on here to say HI and thanks for being here! 👋🏻🫶🏻

I have been doing photography for 9 years now, 5 of those years have been full time! To this day I still have moments where I just have to step back and soak it all in knowing that this is what I get to do full time to support and provide for my family. and for that, I am forever grateful!

I cannot believe summer/busy season is already here! This year my husband and I built our first garden! For the last 4 years we have had potted plants on our porch, but this year we finally got a fenced in yard for our pups and with that we wanted to make the garden! So when I am not editing or out taking photos chances are you can find me in my own little world aka my backyard/garden. It has been so fun and rewarding being able to design it all and watch it grow! Already have had some stressful moments too, not going to lie and pretend like everything's perfect 😂 BUT i have been learning so much and it is something I am finding that I really enjoy and another little hobby to have other than taking photos. (What other photographer's can relate to not knowing their hobbies other than taking photos? 🙋‍♀️😅)

I hope everyone's summer is off to a great start! What is one thing you are looking forward to this summer!?

PS- I am realizing this is the first time I am posting these headshots on my feed, and they are some of my absolute FAVS! (Thank you 😘).... this goes to show how horrible I have been at posting this past year and I am trying to change that (in case you haven't noticed 😉)

Photographing this intimate wedding was definitely a highlight last November! My sweet cousin who I grew up with eloped last fall and it was so so special being able to be apart of her special day! So happy for her and her family 🫶🏻

Did we do these photos during a tornado watch? Yes 😂. Did we have to reschedule 5 times due to bad weather? Also yes. But was it worth the wait...? 100%! 😍

5 years ago we were dancing on the beach for their engagement photos and now these two are preparing to be parents! 🤩 So excited for them! And also.. Grace wins wife of the year...she was the one who came up with the green bay packers jersey idea because she knows her husbands love for the packers. So fun!

Always enjoy being able to work with them during weddings, and whenever we do their branding photos! 🫶🏻
Fun fact: Emily was my day of coordinator for my wedding down in South Carolina and I seriously could not have imagined my day without her!

They celebrated 60 years married this year and have such a story to tell. And I was thrilled to capture just a piece of it 🤍 We did photos at their home they built, slowed danced in their favorite room, and ended our time with a cup of coffee and dutch cookies. Holding on to these memories so close 🤍
