Set on 105 acres, Brandywine Manor House has several sites for each part of your wedding. Over the next several weeks, we’d like to do a short highlight of each, beginning with where you’ll start your day - our Bridal Suite and Groom’s Room.

With access as early as 9am, you can spend your day on site without worry of running late and getting behind schedule. In the Bridal Suite, there is a large counter with chairs, bar stools, 3-way mirror, refrigerator, and comfy seating. This is a suite you’ll love spending your morning in!

Across the barn, you’ll find the Groom’s Room. With seating, space to hang the suits, a refrigerator, and easy access to outside, it’s the perfect space for the men to hang out while waiting for things to begin.

As we continue on in our 21st wedding season, we want to introduce the ladies behind Brandywine Manor House - Nancy + Aimee. A mom/daughter team, they worked together to plan Aimee’s wedding here nearly 11 years ago and now spend their days working together to ensure every couple has their own perfect day.

Nancy handles most of the admin tasks and also conducts tours with couples. Aimee tours many of our couples and is behind the planning of each wedding at Brandywine Manor House. The day of, Aimee and her team handle the coordination.

Whether you’ve chatted with both of us face to face or met one of us only through email, we are so happy to be a part of planning your day at Brandywine Manor House!

A less visual, but nevertheless important and exciting upgrade, is the installation of our new commercial generator! After months of back-orders and shipping delays, it was finally completed and installed earlier this year. Should we lose power during an event, this generator turns on automatically and powers the entirety of the venue. While we hope we’ll never need it on a wedding day, if the need arises, we’re thrilled that the party can go on! ✨

Another exciting update made over the past year - our koi pond was completely redone! A focal point under the barn, the koi pond was rebuilt from scratch to be nearly double the size with multiple falls. With about two dozen koi and plenty of colorful florals around it, this spot is guaranteed to stay one of the most popular photo spots on the property.

Onto another exciting update! Over fall, we replaced the existing Tent with a brand new top, allowing us to open it up on the west side where it had previously been closed. Now the Tent opens on both the barn side (pictured) and the Terrace side, providing even prettier views, giving more natural light, and increasing air-flow in the warmer months.

It’s been quiet on here, but our team has been busy! Over the past several months, we’ve worked to make several updates and improvements to the venue, and as we gear up for the start of the season, we’re excited to share them! Starting with the Garden Terrace, one of our most popular ceremony and cocktail hour locations, this site had gorgeous brick pavers put down, providing a perfect spot for couples who’d prefer outdoors without the grass. We love how it brightens up the site even on cloudy days.
