Lunch Provided today for the awesome Staff (Techs, Veterinarian, and Surgeons) at Woodforest Animal Hospital for Vet Tech Week. 2nd time around, Baby. We love our Repeat Customers. We Catered for them back in March of this Year.

Mrs. Shannon (one of the Employees) called, and asked if we could provide them Lunch. We gave her a Menu, and she said “We Want It!” Then, she called me back and said “Can we change it? Our Surgeon wants that same Cajun Pasta and sides that you made us last time! That was the best Pasta and sides that we have ever had!” Lol 😂. No problem! People don’t play around about that Cajun Pasta. It’s a bad boy, we can’t even lie to ya. Get on our Books before we get crazy busy for the Holidays. Yesterday’s Private Chef’ing went a lil’ something like this! This was for our Top Spending Client Mrs. Stephanie McShane’s Daughter Caitlyn, and her Friends celebrating Joe’s 21st Birthday. We’ve been locked in with the McShanes for over 3 years now 🔐.

7.26.2024 Wedding for the Jackson’s - EXECUTED ✅. Over 150 Guests served. We MASTERED the hell outta that❗️Visuals done by your Favorite Chef 🤙🏾. I envisioned how I wanted the Table to look. Flower Vases and all. 𝑻𝒐𝒑 𝑻𝒊𝒆𝒓!

I’d like to send a HUGE SHOUTOUT to my Team! This wouldn’t have been a possible Success without them! Thank You, Mom, Aunt Toni, and Trina for y’all’s hard work! Y’all handled y’all’s Business. There’s a lot of Hard Work that y’all just couldn’t even begin to understand what goes on behind the scenes to make something like this a Success. Usually for a Chef & Caterer, Weddings can be just as stressful as they are to the Wedding Planner because the Food can make or break the Wedding. It’s ALL Eyes on the Food! Yesterday was so chilled. We were ahead of ourselves, and on top of everything. The line flowed like Butter, also. Speaking of Butter? Check out those Honey Butter Rolls your Chef did. A Crowd favorite 😎.

Sweet Potato Pie 🍠 & Almond Vanilla Pound Cake (not pictured) for a Client pickup today! Y’all know Chef is real PARTICULAR & a**l about his Work.

These are not those Patti Labelle Pies (no harm or foul to Patti, but those are a disgrace to the Culture). Don’t bring no Light Skin Pies around us lol. Our Sweet Potato Pies need to be as dark as Chef himself 😎. Those Bad Boys need to have some Melanin in em’, and that Crust has to be nice and Brown. That let’s us know off top by just looking at em’ that they’re Flavored Perfectly. We also like our Sweet Potato Pie Custard to be smooth. We don’t like a clumpy Pie. That says you didn’t whip your Custard good/long enough, nor did you put enough Milk, or Eggs in it. Y’all know the OG Grandma Evelyn Jean taught us the game, and we ran with it.

We have a CRAZY busy Week ahead of us. So today is all about resting 😌. Huge Wedding Ceremony on Friday, and turn around and doing a Baby Shower on Saturday! Super blessed and honored to be 🙏🏾.

Grubbin On Cloud9 provided Lunch today for the Staff at Mighty Oaks Foundation. One of Chef’s awesome Classmate’s Mother Mrs. Sherri asked us if we could take care of about 40 Employees. Of course we can. And Thank You so much for the Tip, Sweet Lady! I feel the Love. Everyone was so nice, and so excited when we took the Tops off the Food.

Goodevening 👋🏾, to all of you Sweet Tooth Lovers 😊! So, a lot of you saw from the Post the other day that we offer Private Chef Services right from the comfort of your Home, and most of you know that we offer Corporate Caterings, Weddings, Parties, Celebrations, etc. as well.

But, I’d like to show alot of you who are new here my Pastry Side as well! Chef De’Andrae is a Self Taught Pastry Chef. Everything that I do is from Scratch. Literally, everything. On the Cakes, I do Buttercream Icing (American, Swiss Meringue, Italian, etc.) only. NO FONDANT! All of our Cakes are super moist, dense, with a Flavor Profile of their own.

Our Cheesecakes are really next Level, also! I’ve been deemed (by my Clients) to have “10x better Cheesecakes than the Cheesecake Factory.” Each Cheesecake has its very own unique Flavor, also. The Crusts are hand pressed, and Water Bath Baked for a perfect, creamy consistency. I’ve turned the “I don’t like Cheesecake” people into Believers 🤣. So, when Booking us for your next Occasion, not only do we offer an array of 10/10 Food Menu choices, but you can really have your Cake, and eat it too. Your 1 Stop Shop! Private Chef’ing for the Birthday Girl Mrs. Melanie & the entire Family last night was a HUGE SUCCESS ✅. The theme was “Flamingos 🦩”. These awesome People were a Vibe. So nice, Welcoming, and just Fun! They absolutely loved the Food! They said “The Best That They’ve Had!” They were so blown away by the whole Experience! The Host (Mrs. Donna - which is the Birthday Girls Older Sister) was so cool! So Welcoming, and made Chef feel like Family! I sat out on the Deck with them on the Lake, and we just relaxed & vibed, and had a Blast all night. Had to honestly had to force myself to leave 😩.

A few Birdies 🐦 have told us that y’all want those Loaded Blackened Seafood 1/2 Pans back! Is that so 👀? Seafood Lovers, make some noise 👂🏾. These Pans had so much Food in them, that 3-4 People could eat off 1!

When your Ol’ School Granny Evelyn who’s the OG/Original in the Kitchen, and taught you all of her Tricks can now sit down comfortably at 78 years old, and call and request me, her Grandboy to make a big Pan of Fried Cabbage for the Family Reunion. Ain’t NOBODY coming close to these Cabbage 🤷🏾‍♂️. Zoom in on these Bad Boys! These aren’t those lil’ bland green/white looking Cabbage 🥬 that we hate seeing. We want our Cabbage to be dark. We wanna be able to SEE all the Flavors before eating. And these still have some crunch to em’. They are so damn good, you can eat em’ by themselves. Then, she called back and say “Drae! Can you make Granny a lil’ 🤏🏾 small thang of that Honey Butter Con’bread. Please, for Granny 🤣!” Of course, Evelyn Jean. You got it, babygirl! A done deal. She taught us how to make this too. Ol’ School, from Scratch with that Cornmeal and that piping Hot Grease. Look at how it rises with that Golden Brown rim around it 🤤. Real Down-Home Southern Food right hea that actually lives up to all of the Social Media hype 😎. Yesterday’s 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑩𝒓𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒉 was such a Vibe, Man! These Clients came all the way down from Indianapolis, Indiana ✈️ to Houston to celebrate their Sisters Birthday! Their Cousin is the Famous Content Creator Ree Aurelia Quarels, who asked our girl Cookie 🍪 if she knew a Chef who would take care of them for a Surprise Brunch! Cookie asked us would we take care of them? Of course. Not only did we do the Food, but I (Chef) took care of the Visuals/Aesthetics also! This was a super Sentimental Trip for them, also! They just lost their Brother a few Months ago whom they were all very close too. This was their 1st Trip together as a Family as Siblings, and he was Supposed to be with them. I knew this from speaking with the other Sister who was surprising her. What they didn’t know is that I was going to present them with a Photo of him in a Angel Wing Picture Frame 🖼️😇 to signify that he was there with them in Spirit 🕊️! There wasn’t a dry eye in the Room. And just my way of going the extra Mile to show my Appreciation for Booking with us! They were so pleased with everything, that they immediately tipped us right on the Spot. We stayed, and Partied with them. It was such a Vibe. You had to have been there.
