I have the privilege of announcing at amazing 5k's across SE Houston. They are all special for different reasons- some are staged at legendary venues, others support health causes.

But, as a father and dad of 5 kids, this one hits differently. Pregnancy loss affects so many Houston families and the reality is that most suffer in silence, bearing the emotional and financial burden alone. Both burdens can be enormous to mom, Dad and the family.

Wedding weekend marathon!! 1...2...3 weddings in 24 hrs!! Started Friday at The Springs Event Venue Magnolia with Kaylyn and Deondre, then Saturday at Pinstripes Bowling with Meriah and Royd and closed out at Royal cypress venue with a 7 hr celebration of love for Krissi and Adrian. I prayed for more weddings in 2024 and the couple's are finding me. I love what I do and who I do it for! Thanks to the family, wedding planner and venue for connecting me with these great opportunities. Pics coming soon!

Houston Fourth Fest was lit! I DJ-ed the race/hotdog eating contest/beer mile with the hilarious Rich Williams and an 104 KRBE Studios on-air personality. Despite the heat, Houston showed up and we celebrated fitness and fun till noon! Kudos to Negative split Productions and Houston Running Company for an epic event. Don't miss it next year!

Congratulations to Ericka Johnson & Tony Demons on their wedding! I had the privilege of serving as their DJ. These stylish newlyweds treated their guests to a spectacular evening of elegance at the opulent San Souci Ballroom . Despite the impending arrival of
guests arrived from far and wide to support the couple's marriage.

I prepared 3 sound stations to accompany the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. This large venue proved challenging to cover on foot solo. I was running at times, lol. However, once set up, the acoustics were a delight. The expansive ballroom had the BEST in-house sound system (I've ever experienced) and only required my DJ booth and wireless mics. The line array speakers at the corners of the stage gave crisp highs and mid's, while the stage rumbled with untold number of beastly subwoofers hidden beneath. I marveled at the huge chandeliers covering the ceilings, the pro-lighting exciting the dancefloor and the upscale decore throughout the venue. Even the restrooms were euro-lavish wall to wall and top to bottom. This was indeed a special place. I digress...

We had a great time when the dancefloor opened, playing line dances, trap and a surprising amount of old school Miami bass tracks. There was no question that the groom is vicious on the floor. I'd be remice not to s/o my emcee "El" for the high energy during the dance party. He kept the engagement on 💯 start to finish. A great bonus!

I'm so grateful for the opportunity to share in this special moment for my client's relationship and the joining of their families. I wish them many years of happiness ahead.

PS, a first for me... receiving a "shelter in place" order during "Back That A*z Up".
