My last floral class of the season and year last night! (I think?!) Was pretty tired as I wheeled out the last of the greenery in buckets into a building parking lot, but so grateful and thankful for the wonderful support from companies, law firms, private clients, and fellow small business owners. All I could do when I got home was grab a bite to eat and watch some mindless TV 😂👯♀️ But when you’re tired, it’s important to remember WHY you’re tired- in my case it’s because I was hired to teach a big class of highly educated professional women attorneys, for a business I started myself just a few years ago, so yes, it’s good to get hired and it’s ok to be tired! We made several white and gold holiday inspired Le Petite floral arrangements for a special dinner @backstreetcafe . These are our smallest arrangements and yet still pack a lot of punch. These are great to mix and match with some of our other items as well (flower boards, minis, special vases, etc). I think it’s so important to bring in flowers because they really dress up linens and the room! My clients generally give me a general color ideas, or an invite, and I take it from there with what inspires me that day at my floral wholesaler. Since this event was during the holidays and they wanted elegant, we came up with white and gold and I spray painted touches of gold.
