The purpose of the organization is to facilitate corporate networking and socializing opportunities for urban professionals in the greater Houston, Philadelphia, and Connecticut areas. The entertainment divisions of Barber Group Enterprises was founded in 2001 by Guy Barber who had a vision to enhance the business and social development in Connecticut and Philadelphia for urban professionals by p

roviding unique forms geared towards cultural and intelligent enrichment as well as network and socializing. Since 2002 BGE has amazingly remained consistent with the following operational standard and core offering:

(1) Quality networking and Safety First: BGE and it's entertainment Division boast a superb track record on safe and enjoyable events to BGE attendee for more than 9 years. When attending an BGE event there are no worries or fears that may be associated with attending random nightclub parties. Our professional clientele is the is the best in the region when it comes to maturity class, and style. (2) strict Age Requirements and Dress Code. The age requirement is 23 and above. Dress is Corporate casual, no athletic apparel, Jeans or work boots. (3) Rotating Venue, Conglomerate Entertainment is committed to exposing young urban professional to various areas, venues and attractions around our home base cities. many of the upcoming venues have been underutilized, especially by minority professionals. Changing up the entertainment and networking vehicle each month is one the keys of keeping the events fresh, as it ensures continual attendance and an expanding clientele. (5) Promote minority businesses and job placement. Our goal is to serve as a link between minority business owners and the urban professional community in order to keep financial capital within the community.
