Our Story

The story of JD Entertainment began in the 1970's when my father, our founder started DJing in his spare time while active duty in the US Air Force while stationed in Japan. He continued to do so during his entire time while he was in the military to keep up with music which was and still is a passion of his. But when he retired in 1999 he had started what was then and still is JD Entertainment in New Braunfels, Texas. Since then it has been our mission to provide the best sound and light show for any event no matter what size because it is a passion of ours to make you our customers happy. In 20 years of being in service in Texas we have played hundreds of DJ gigs from weddings to special promotional events, and we continue to do so because we are passionate about what we do, which is to perform the best light show and sound for Houston and the surrounding areas.
