When I turned 30.

Turning 30 came quicker then expected having spent the last 2 years of my twenties at home due to … you know why …

Turning 30 made me realize the sad truth that is a lot people that look like me and come from the same places I do, don’t get the luxury of turning 30.

Turning 30 helped me understand that I can only control the things the I control. Someone’s negative response or rude comment isn’t an indicator of my life and personal choices so why let it bother me?

Turning 30 opened my eyes to the fact people will put their insecurities, inabilities, and self doubt into you…. But only if you let them.

Turning 30 opened my heart and sparked a changed from within to personally be the leader and role model that I know I can be.

Turning 30 also helped me realize that wisdom knows no package there is knowledge to be gained in every situation.

Turning 30 gives me the motivation to live and live hard. The goal is to live long.
